Beau Monde Society Launches Fashion Company in Old Hollywood Style

After all the prep and publicity that went into our Retrocletic launch, April 11th ushered in a refreshing energy for team BMS and Making Moments (our event planning company). Alongside our founder, Tracey Beliard of MM paid attention to details; from the event programs to the table tents featuring the special cocktails and cupcakes that were designed specifically for BMS mini launch and Fashion Envie’s Pre-reception at Le Souk Harem. Also adorning the tables were BMS’s Old Hollywood inspirations– actresses that challenged the status quo from Hattie McDaniels to Sophia Loren.

Grace Kelly abandoned her successful career in Hollywood to fulfill her role as HRH of Monaco

Sophia Loren became the first non-English speaking woman in Hollywood to receive an Academy Award.

Our guests arrived fashionable and early! The event commenced with an introduction from our Master of Ceremony, Mr. Randal Jacobs who gave a brief description of Beau Monde Society. Here are some of the dapper gentlemen and stylish ladies that kept to our requested dress code:

Some of our gift bags that felt quite at home in the rustic surroundings of Le Souk- where its interior decor is influenced by Moroccan culture. The lime green gift bags were reserved for the ladies and they featured beauty items by Motives Cosmetics, natural hair products by Amauri Hair Grow, and jewelry by Dabanga. Meanwhile, the black gift bags went to the gentleman and featured natural hair products, handmade jewelry for men, and a bowtie from The Creative Era.

By the end of the night, the cupcakes were gone and everyone has had their fill at the bar. BMS founder took to the mic to thank all her guests and sponsors.

Overall, our first social outing was a success! We look forward to creating more inspiring events in New York City to push forward our mission of “Challenging The Status Quo!”
